Mr. McGuire has been a professional trainer since 1982. Jay specializes in delivering instructor-led, on site technical training covering the fields of telecommunications, data communications and networking, voice over IP, and call center technologies.He has trained internationally for Fortune 100 businesses including some of the largest management consulting companies, banks, retail, insurance organizations, and technology companies.
Prior to becoming an independent trainer, Mr. McGuire worked ten years in the telecommunications department at Aetna Life and Casualty. There he created computer-based network performance models, designed many of Aetna's data and voice networks and was manager in the department in charge of telecommunications planning, acquisitions, and installations. Past positions also include teaching undergraduate courses in applied queuing theory and statistics and designing computer logic for Raytheon Corporation.
A native of Connecticut, Mr. McGuire holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering majoring in operations research.
